Our roots run deep in Georgia’s criminal courts. Hogue Griffin is the latest iteration of a defense-focused firm with a legacy stretching back decades in Macon and the surrounding areas.
Managing Partner J. Travis Griffin began his legal career right here, clerking for the firm in 2011 while still a student at Mercer Law. After graduating, he joined as an associate and rose through the ranks, becoming partner in 2017 and managing partner in 2022. The firm name has evolved over the years, but our commitment to zealous, constitutionally grounded defense has never wavered.
Today, our team includes attorneys with experience as public defenders, prosecutors, and federal defense counsel. That diversity of perspective makes us more dangerous in court—and more effective out of it.
